The T2 is the T2. It has the reputation it has for a reason. Crystal clear, reliable, and as bright as needed. Its tough to find anything else to say about it that hasn't been said over the years. It is on my HD AR.
The next part of the review is about Eurooptic. They are just a top notch organization. Their customer service folks are great and always knowledgeable, and helpful. Shipping is always quick. They are my first stop when I need anything.

I previously purchased 2 Sig Sauer Romeo 5 red dots. I never could pull myself to spend big money on a red dot. I recently decided to purchase the Aimpoint T2 and a Spuhr mount for my DDM4V7LW. I actually prefer the dot on the Romeo 5, but you can definitely tell the difference as quality, finish, feel. The T2 is feels far more rugged than the Romeo 5. I don’t know if I will buy another one due to the price, but I am sure glad I bought this one. I recommend biting the bullet at least once, and going ahead and buying one. You won’t be sort that you did.

Best price, best availability (especially in these times) and super fast shipping. Nice to see companies that still have good service without gouging their customers. For me personally comparing the T2 against a super old H1 that's been riding on my main rifle for the last 10 yrs or so left me kind of unhappy with my purchase. I don't know if it's just my H1 is just super great or the T2 was goofy but I found that the T2 was virtually unusable to me unless 1 step from full brightness. This created the red ring and blowout that I don't get from my older Aimpoint. This leads to a substantially lower battery life leaving the gun in a ready status. I understand the NV settings are unusable and even the first few regular setting have very very limited use. All this being said I'm sure it's a great optic just not for my use. Eurooptic was very understanding and the return was handled promptly and easily. Will definitely use them again for optic / related purchases.

This is my third T2 from Eurooptic.com. Even in this economy, Eurooptic.com offers these sights at the lowest price for a new unit. They are still pricey, but these are heirloom quality optics and I plan to use them as such. They are currently used as secondary offset sights to LPVOs, but once my children come of age they can be used as primary optics on their rifles. I'm sure they will still function perfectly. Great optic, great price and this is the best company to deal with. I'll be back in the future.

Glad I took the plunge, it’s not cheap but worth every penny. Glad “no mount” is an option, paired it with a Scalarworks 1.93” LEAP and everything is just as it should be. I normally run EoTech EXPS models (own 3) and I really prefer this Aimpoint to those. Dot comes up quickly, no searching, no need to lower my head and it’s not made in China like it’s “competitor”. Feel like I want to get a couple more.

Having never used a red dot and wanting to look cool with an AR-15, I asked my SF brother what he and the other guys run on their M4's and M16's. The answer was simple. Aimpoint T2 and EOTech. Holographic technology is relatively complex and I just wanted a little dot. Aimpoint it was! Paired it with a Scalarworks mount in March and my Saint Edge was ready to go. Five months in, I've put over 2k rounds through it, spanning 55gr FMJ to 77gr OTM bullets. Zeroed at 100 yds and its been rock solid since. Visibility is crystal clear and the dot is very easy to see in the brightest sun. In heavy rain, I was still able to make out a two square inch diamond target at 100 yds. One thing I never knew I would appreciate so much are the lens caps. To me, those things are priceless. Once I placed the order, both the Aimpoint and mount were at my doorstep the very next day. Can't say enough about Eurooptic. Best inventory, best prices, fastest shipping and best service. This website is a permanent fixture on my favorites bar.

This is my first aimpoint t2 I never wanted to cough of the $ for this optic I must say it’s pretty dam nice I have it mounted on a scalar works 1.57 mount it’s just what I wanted . There was no B.S with EuroOptic if they say they have it they do they even had it to me in 2days all the way down south . EuroOptic also had the best price on the t2 also , will purchase again from them . Thanks

You see countless videos online of people using the T2 in daylight conditions. All various lighting conditions. During BRIGHT sunlight conditions just fine. The manual shows daylight lowest setting at 7. The people above that are trying to shift this optic towards NV use like it was made only for NV and barely works during the daylight scenario are pure nuts.

Replaced my Sig Romeo 5, purchased for night vision compatibility and it's exactly what I expected. This optic makes complete sense if purchased for NV use, otherwise, one might consider other optics that offer the same visible light performance at a lower price point.
Comments about the change in emitter are true, the minimum functional brightness is now setting ~9 rather than ~8. This might matter for someone who is purchasing primarily for daylight use, but my purchase was for NV use, therefore this is a sacrifice I am willing to make.

It doesn't get much better than Aimpoint for red dot sights, and the T2 is no exception. I know that I can depend on it, and I am glad to own it. EuroOptic is also one of (if not the) best vendors out there. It was also a great price.

I have tested an insane amount of red dots. I have never been a fan of micro dots until the T2. Best glass by far and seamless view. Paired with the scalarworks mount, unbeatable CQB optic. Eurooptics came through with amazing customer service, I asked if they could get it here by the weekend because I was going out of town for training. It was at my door in 2 days flat! The only place I will order optics!

50k hour battery life is of the highest rated for red dots in its class. The dot could be brighter at the lower daytime settings.
