Purchased the Franchi Affinity Catalyst 12ga for my wife after extensive search for a field and clay gun that actually fit her. Purchased from EuroOptic web store over the weekend, and it was at my FFL Friday noon. Outstanding service and fair pricing. Will defiantly consider EuroOptic again. The Catalyst fit better than many high end models on the market for much less money. We used the enclosed shims to adjust the drop for an even better fit. Fit, finish, and quality of workmanship is excellent. Note that the owner manual included has incorrect information on assembly and disassembly of the gun. The manual says to open and lock the bolt open to assemble the barrel and fore guard. There is NO WAY to assemble the weapon with the bolt open. Simply leave it closed, and the barrel slides right in. You know everything's in place when it "clicks". After a round of Trap and day at local Sporting Clay Course, she is in love with her new gun. Light weight, smooth swing, natural point, and very manageable recoil made it a joy for her to shoot. After 100 rounds, function was perfect. Her prior 12ga auto loader (Browning Light 12) left her bruised and beat. Not the Franchi! She's already planning another weekend at the range...
