I would like to give it 4.7 stars, but that is not an option. The glass is very good. Turrets very good, I especially like the 2-turn feature.
For the price, they should have included a sun shade, and the Butler Creek caps they include are not up to the standards of the scope.
From a personal perspective, I wish the "measuring" lines were either gone, or confined to a small area in a lower quadrant. I would eliminate the vertical portion of the reticle above the center point. Other than that, the reticle is very good.
The lighted reticle is not visible unless the adjustment is in the highest two positions, but this may be because of a weak battery... I have not tried a new one. Actually, I would prefer that there not be a lighted reticle in the first place, but I that is not a big deal.
Would I recommend it to a friend? It depends. If money is no object, it is among the top 5 or so that I would recommend. If price is a consideration, there are several, much less expensive, scopes that will get the job done as well. It is like the old Chevy vs Cadillac saying: They will both get you there, the Cadillac is just a bit more comfortable.

This is a great scope at a great prince. Schmidt Bender is one of the best optics in the world and EuroOptic has the best prices for this line of scopes. EuroOptic is always great to work with and help you with any problem you are having. Customer service is second to none.
