Just buy it! The edge to edge clarity of this glass is amazingly clear and in a league of its own especially at this price point. You'll need to spend twice as much to get something that might give you marginal better clarity and value. The illumination dot is super small, clear, and extremely daylight bright. The dot size is none obtrusive going out to distance giving pinpoint shot placement. The reticle is uncluttered and simple with holdover hash marks! The zoom lever is not overly stiff like Vortex and throw lever is even included! At 1x, it has a very very slight magnification to my eyes, but again, you'll need to spend much more if you want true 1x optic. I've compared this to my Elcan SpecterDR and I can absolutely tell you the glass clarify is on PAR - yep its that good! My only niggle with this scope is the Turrets and illumination clicks are good enough albeit a little more tactile and positive engagement is welcomed in my opinion. I was tempted to get the Vortex Razor HD Gen 2 1-6 (again) but the trade off in weight (25oz without mount) and price difference giving me little in return swayed my decision to buy this optic and couldn't be more happier. Lastly, I want to give a shout out to EuroOptic for OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE. I am always impressed with the people that represent EuroOptic and their willingness to go the extra mile to making my purchase pleasurable. Kudo's EuroOptic!

The US made scope is perfect in every way-from the brightness and edge to edge clarity of the glass to the fit/finish/smoothness of the mechanism and the ideal illuminated reticle which provides my older eyes a perfect dot rather than the 'comma' that was present when I looked through the very high end 'red dot' sight that this scope replaced. Why mess around with 'red dot' sights when you can have a 1-4 scope (the one power sure looks to be a true one power) that has more than enough levels of brightness and magnification for our needs plus some. Now I do have to say that the only thing better than the the scope was the in person experience we had at the store and I strongly recommend that you make the trip to this remarkable store if you are able. It was the only place where I got to see-handle and look through (both inside the shop and outside) EVERY single rifle scope I was interested in, the inventory they had during our visit was incredible. Wonderful people-huge selection of optics of all kinds plus rifles, handguns and jewelry, and pricing at or lower than anything I saw on the net.

The best 1-4. Clearer, brighter than all others. Best edge to edge clarity.

The glass on this scope is amazing, especially at this price point. Edge clarity is really good and it is very, very, close to 1x. I have to look hard to even see it the magnification. The dot is daylight bright and works just fine with a weaponlight. Another plus is despite having a strong astigmatism in my dominant eye, the dot is almost perfect even without my glasses which correct for the astigmatism. Lastly, I love the fact it's assembled here in the USA. Additionally, I have found EuroOptic to be outstanding. They helpfully put all the scope parameters in US units so comparisons are easy. And unlike other retailers that have huge delays due to COVID, EuroOptic ships stuff in a day or two.

I’ve had mine for about a year and a half...it’s flawless in every way. When Steiner advertisers claim the P4Xi to be a true 1X they’re spot on. There’s absolutely zero peripheral aberration on the 1X setting. In addition, the illuminated red dot 🔴 also allows this scope to be used as a CQB optic. The clarity at 1X is every bit AS GOOD as any of the upper tier red dot optics costing hundreds of dollars more. There’s no need for a piggyback red dot on this scope; as it’s turned an 18 inch Noveske SPR into a more versatile piece of kit.

My Comments • Very clear and bright image quality. As good or better than scopes costing twice the price (Vortex Razor CBQ). • Image quality is EXCELLENT. Very good color contrast but not as good as a Tract Toric. • Center illuminated Red Dot is very precisely small and bright. Best red dot image of any scope I’ve ever seen. The entire reticle does not illuminate. Only the red .76 moa center dot is illuminated. • ‘OFF’ settings between each illumination intensity setting is great. No need to make a complete dial rotation to turn ‘OFF’. There are two separate intensity ranges. One each for use in Daylight or Night time. The red dot is bright enough for even the brightness daylight condition. Illumination dial is rather easy to turn but detents are pronounced to help avoid accidental movement. Dial has a stop at both ends of the range. Dial will not turn continuously around. • Power magnification ring dial is quite stiff but smooth. The included three piece, removable large Throw Lever reduces effort a great deal. Lever protrudes 7/8” off of dial ring. Should be shorter to prevent accidental contact. This lever looks like and may be a SwitchView brand, non-folding type lever. • Very slight Fish Eye effect is evident at 1X when moving head off scope centerline but is not terrible. This is a true non-magnifying 1X scope. • Very slight Parallax error on targets that are within 100 yards. This small Parallax error is reduced as distance to target increases out to 100 yards. Error is most noticeable on the highest power. Scope has a fixed Parallax at 100 yards. • The wider outer portions of reticle lines subtend twice the thickness of a typical Duplex reticle and have a gradual linear taper toward the thinner center section which I really like. While this gives the first impression that the center section is extremely thin, it is actually about the same thickness (.076 moa) as the center section of a typical Duplex reticle. • The vertical reticule post BDC graduations, which are rather small but crisply precise (.054 moa), can sometimes be hard to see at distant objects against a dark target subject if the subject has vertical patterns such as trees trunks. Reticle center sections are .076 moa thin and crisply precise for long range work but can be hard to pick up against a cluttered back ground such as trees if the red dot is off. Not an issue when this very crisp red dot is ‘ON’. • Scope is GREAT for close in CBQ work and Mid-Range shooting distances. Mounted on the LWRC REPR 308 semi-auto rifle.
