Outstanding trigger assembly . I previously had the Vairient 1 (sa/da with decocker) on my USP compact 40cal. This kit was easy to convert if your mechanically inclined other wise a local gunsmith is needed. The take up is effortless and trigger pull is at 4.5 lbs with a short reset. I now carry this gun concealed with confidence that first shot and second shot are quick on target in a tight group where as before with a heavy trigger pull I had a slower response time to stay on target. LEM trigger is the way to go. Highly recommend! !!!

Excellent trigger kit from H&K designer Helmut Weldle.
I don't think the LEM gets enough attention. Far superior to DAO "Innovations" such as the Double Action Kellerman or Double Actoin Plus (LH9).
If you have a USP v1 or any variant, even match (Tactical, Elite, Expert) you will benefit from the LEM kit.
It allows you to tune it to your liking, especially if you have match parts either stock or purchased. With this kit you have two very different pull weights that change the feel in general. LEM Heavy is my preference for EDC or defensive use, With a simple spring change you can go to LEM light. And for absolute perfection you have the option of Match/Lem hybrid.
In general I believe the LEM makes your USP even MORE reliable, the hammer spring is heavier while the trigger, even on heavy LEM, is much smoother and lighter than the DA pull on a DA/SA setup. The lem gives you the double action length of pull, but also has a defined wall where it breaks. LEM is really more like a Single Action pull with a long take-up, and very short reset.
Also worth mentioning is the fact that its very easy and even quick with practice to install the LEM, and to switch between LEM and DA/SA V1, DOA V7, or any other variant (USP) on demand.
My Advice? Buy this, and install it for LEM heavy. After 300 rounds down range it smooths out to be the best of both worlds. The safety of a double action, long and heavy(Ish), and the crisp clean break and short reset of a single action.

I have converted to H&K usp solely because of the LEM trigger. It is the safest trigger system that I know of while still maintaining a reasonable pull weight. If your usp was made before 2005, you need to order the new style catch to make the conversion work.

I bought this to convert a HK 45C from V1 to LEM. This kit comes with everything you need and some extra parts that you won't need for the conversion. It took me about 30 minutes to install it with only a 2mm punch (other sizes will work) and a toothbrush (to push the hammer spring lockout back into place - any soft plastic will work though). This kit will take your trigger and turn it into a DAO with single action pull. Once you have a FTF/FTE after pulling the trigger, you'll then get a double action pull on the trigger. Note: You will lose the safety unless you get a V5/V6 detent (separately). You will not have a decocker after the conversion.
Overall, I would recommend this kit to anyone who wants a lighter trigger pull that still utilizes full factory parts.

Talk about a great price for a USP LEM trigger kit! Almost double the price on other sites. Shipping was exactly 2 days which is awesome. The only downside is I want another and they're out of stock! Installed nicely and will be waiting for a back in stock email to get another or 2.

Turns the USP compact into arguably the best carry pistol around.
Install is non-trivial but entirely possible for the home mechanic. Note that I did't say "gunsmith" since no actual fitting is necessary.
EuroOptic has easily the best prices around on this and other HK accessories, and it all came in the correct bags with proper OEM springs.
Speaking of springs, you'll probably want to swap out the mainspring with the one provided in the kit. I left the stock USPc 9mm mainspring in at first, and while it gave an amazingly light trigger pull, it caused 3 light strikes within 600 rounds which had never happened before.
Left the original trigger return spring in the gun and it works just fine.

Purchased this kit for my HK45c. I had previously installed the LEM trigger in a HK45 and USPc and absolutely fell in love with the light LEM trigger set up on both of those firearms. It greatly simplifies the controls and improves the trigger in my opinion. This one was no different. Install was manageable and the weapon worked flawlessly once complete.

Want a single-action-only pistol but don't care for manual safeties? Required to use a DAO pistol but want to game the requirement? Ever Decide that you want a SAO pistol that you can call a DAO and run like a DA/SA? Just have a taste for the odd and/or over-engineered?
Here you go.
The true hammer is a little semi-circule and the outer "hammer" is really just a glorified transfer bar. A very light, double-action-length takeup leaves you at a relatively crisp break nicer than many SAO triggers on the market. Treat it like an exaggerated two-stage single-action trigger and you'll have a great time.
After your first shot, you can either ride the shortish reset for the next shot or fully release the trigger to lower the outer "hammer" and leave the pistol ready to either repeat the long takeup and crisp break or reholster.
This is a very good trigger and can be run fast in short order. I'd call it a must have on any defensive or duty USP variant.

Absolutely fantastic kit. LEM is the standard to which all hammer fired guns should aspire to become. I can not stress enough the difference this upgrade makes to the standard trigger in both saftey and usability.

Only took about an hour to swap the parts out, but I've done a detailed strip of the firearm before. No instructions come with it but HKPro.com has a couple of stickied posts that cover the install. Also note, if you are going to put this into an older USP, you may need to order the new style catch otherwise the hammer will never catch at the decock position. Trigger works great and would buy again.
