This is the first item I ever purchased from EuroOptic- K16i in the SI1 reticle. It took me a few months to learn the reticle with .308/7.62, but super easy to master. The big illuminated circle is 36" at 1x, and 18" at 6x. 1 MOA dot. The end cost of this scope, I believe, is about half of what its quality demonstrates. If you are cliched "on the fence" about purchasing this optic 1) I think you should find one to try out and 2) reviews of this level of quality optic are really difficult to write. If you know, you know is all I can say about the Kahles line of illuminated reticles. I have this scope on a POF 308 in Seekins ring mounts at about 1.75" over bore. I would sell the rifle before I would sell this scope and I would sell my favorite bird dog before I sold that rifle, so... I personally think 200 yd is the max range for any range paper "grouping" (or whatever its called) with a 6x scope, but I can hit 8" steel plates out to 300 yards & get sort-of bored. That's nothing at all to brag about, but the point is I can see the targets perfectly in any shooting position from about 18 ft out to 300 yards. It will probably range out a lot further. That being said, the triangle vertical hash marks proved to be phenomenal when going between super & sub-sonic suppressed/silenced. 308 drops a LOT subsonic compared to super and the 5 MOA references are perfect. No changing my dope between the two loads. I am buying another one- I personally like what the limit of 1-6x gives versus the newer 1-8x.

This is the real deal. Placed on a Larue mount and you are the king of the range. The tridgicon vcog was nice but this has eye relief of 3.75. The dot is small but bright so you pick it up fast for CQB. Built like a Tiger tank and will be the last 1-6 you will buy. Shott glass is the best you can get and I have tried them all. If you can scratch up the cash do it.

THE top low mag variable. Kahles K 1-6x24 SI1 is all about fundamental capability w its startlingly bright glass, clear, uncluttered, precise reticle and huge optical picture, 1x about 130ft at 100yds (that's giant). Dials up to Aimpoint red dot bright levels. Glass quality is beyond the price, like PM II. It's top glass. Clear enough to work for 600 yard prone. Light and rugged.

This is the Rolls Royce of scopes. Clarity and optics like you have never seen in a "normal" scope. Here is my experience: Pros: Clear, sharp, no distortion. Looks and acts rugged - I'll probably never drop it out of a helicopter - but my guess is that it would do okay. Adjustments are perfect! Easy to understand and smooth to use. Changing from 1-6 power doesn't require lots of effort. Great wide field of view at each end of power range. No distortion True 1X and as fast as a red dot. Light weight! Cons: Came NIB with illumination not working. Had to send back to Kahles in Rhode Island (they use the same office as Swarovski) and they sent me a new replacement scope by overnight mail. Diopter adjustment ring turns too easily and you can knock it out of focus during normal handling. SI1 Reticle - Looks like it would do well with 5.56 with all the hash-marks and little V's - but it is actually no good for 5.53 and is at its best with a caliber like 308 mounted 1.5" over bore. The first mark below the red dot when sighted for 100 yards on my AR is about 320 yards. Then jumps to 700 yards for the first triangle (see reticle diagram on specs page at eurooptic) - This reticle is for heavier bullet cartridges. Overall: My comparisons are two other scopes I own, the Trijicon VCOG abd the Primary Arms 1-8 Platinum. I would rate this scope as a lot better than both of them.
