Kimber 1911 Ultra Covert II .45 ACP Pistol 3200167

I bought this Ultra covert II .45 for my personal carry weapon. I needed a factory unmodified gun that had night sites and laser grips and this was the best one. The performance has been great. It has been reliable but gets even smoother as the round count gets higher. I have shot 400 rounds thru it without issues. Keep it clean and it will shoot great. The great accuracy of the Kimber's is due to the tight tolerances between the frame and slide rail as well as all of the internal parts. Therefore, do not over lube the gun or it will have too much hydrolic pressure and not feed properly. Simply run it clean and lightly oiled and wiped off. I have found that running it dirty during practice seems to be a good way to see how it acts as well as breaking it in faster. A clean 1911 Kimber is reliable.
