This advanced field tactical scope has a wide magnification factor that allows precision accuracy at the longest ranges yet is highly effective for shots at close ranges. With 100 MOA of elevation travel and 20 MOA or 10 mils of travel per turret revolution respectively per turret version, no target will be out of range of this scope. Nightforce built the NXS line of battlefield ready precision riflescopes from the ground up with the goal of meeting the most demanding needs shooters may have. The NXS line offers a couple models which includes compact and full size. The compact models are the perfect choice for hunting dangerous game in the bush. Compact NXS scopes offer the best balance between size, weight, and magnification.

Full size NXS models push the limits of what can be done with a tactical scope. There is no glass to metal contact. Hardened bronze materials are utilized in the adjustment and erector tube assemblies.

All variations of the NXS offer the same renowned bomb-proof durability that all Nightforce optics are known for. Each scope features a one-piece tube precision machined from a solid bar stock of 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum alloy. The tube is two to three times thicker than riflescopes of a lesser quality, resulting in less overall stress, greater thermal stability, a consistent zero and a virtually impervious shield for the precision optics within. The lenses are matched and aligned by hand in a process called optical indexing to ensure the highest possible optical performance. The objective lens utilizes a multi-element design like those found in the highest quality telescopes to focus light rays more precisely for exceptional image clarity and color accuracy. Optical performance is further enhanced thanks to multi-coated ED glass that results in superb light transmission, brilliant images, and exceptional color contrast. The internal mechanisms on the windage and elevation turrets are held in place by a specially designed spring that spends two weeks in a polishing tumbler before being installed in the optic to deliver perfectly smooth operation. This guarantees zero loss of integrity, zero loss of repeatability.
