Nightforce NXS Riflescopes

Originally developed for military combat use, the tube of an Nightforce NXS riflescope is machined from solid bar stock 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum alloy for up to 3x greater thickness than other riflescopes. The screw that controls elevation adjustments on the NXS is machined to 110 threads per inch for backlash clearance (less than 1/30 the thickness of a human hair!). Ensuring a lifetime of repeatable accuracy, the NXS’s adjustments are made with hardened silicon bronze. To warrant zero loss of repeatability the NXS titanium spring that maintains pressure on elevation and windage adjustments is placed in a polishing tumbler for two entire weeks.

Nightforce NXS optics are hand-bedded with a Nightforce Mil-Spec bonding agent, cured at 160° for 24 hours, and secured with o-rings and machined metal lock rings to guarantee 100% perfect optical alignment no matter the conditions.
