The B2-40-LR by Really Right Stuff was designed to provide a sturdy interface between your camera/lens and tripod. Attaching your camera/lens to a typical ¼”-20 screw is not only tedious and insecure, but also allows the camera/lens to freely rotate with nothing preventing it from coming loose. The B2-40-LR solves this problem with a 2-part system: a quick release clamp and a quick release plate.

• Low Profile: The lever does not protrude above or below the top or bottom of the clamp, and, in the closed position, the lever closely hugs the contours of the clamp. This makes it less of a "weed catcher" in the field and reduces the chance of being damaged in a fall.
