Description
Pulsar’s XQ35 is an ideal addition to any nighttime hunting or shooting setup. It features a classic design reminiscent of traditional daytime riflescopes, and attaches to the host rifle with commonly available 30mm rings to simplify mounting – no special tools or equipment required. At the heart of the XQ35 is an ultra sensitive NETD <25mK sensor. This provides optimal detail and detects the smallest differences in temperature even in conditions where thermal contrast is low such as in heavy rainfall or dense fog. The NEDT <25mK sensor works in tandem with the XQ35’s f1.0 Germanium optics, which ensures superior heat energy transmissivity for improved detail and an unprecedented detection range of 1476 yards, even in complete darkness. The combination of the advanced optics and sensor is perfectly complemented by a wide array of exclusive features. These features include a variable magnification function, which uses digital zoom to augment the XQ35’s base magnification in gradual 2x steps, or continuously offering the ideal ratio of magnification and visible field of view for specific situations. The XQ35’s magnification abilities are enhanced even further thanks to the “picture-in-picture” mode. This innovative feature provides a high-precision zeroing frame display that only takes up 10% of the total display area. The result shows a magnified image of the target and reticle, allowing the shooter to closely see the image/aiming area while maintaining visual control over the entire field of view at the same time. To ensure ideal observation abilities in changing conditions, the XQ35 is equipped with 8 user-selectable color palettes. The White Hot, Black Hot and Red Hot palettes offer greater object detection, while the Rainbow and Ultramarine increases the user’s recognition and identification abilities. The Red Monochrome, Sepia and Violet on the other hand is an ideal choice for longer observation periods at night. The color palettes are displayed on a high-contrast 1024x768 HD AMOLED display, which delivers enhanced color rendering, a high contrast image, and a fast response time for on-the-move observation.
Other features of the XQ35 include on-board photo and video recording with the touch of a button. The 16GB of internal memory allows for hours of video and thousands of photos to be stored directly on the XQ35. These photos and video can be shared with family and friends by connecting to iOS/Android devices via WiFi connectivity and the Stream Vision 2 app. In addition to the extensive range of technological aspects, the XQ35 is optimized for durability and heavy field use. A 10-hour battery life with quick change batteries greatly extends your hunting time, and a recoil rating of 6,000 joules allows the XQ35 to easily withstand cartridges such as 9.3x64m .375 H&H, and 12 gauge shotgun shells. The XQ35 is also features a IPX7 rating, making it completely waterproof for applications in environments with high humidity and heavy rainfall.
