The Hammer Classic by CZ USA lives up to its name in terms of appearances and functionality. For many, the Hammer Classic will conjure up memories of grandpa’s shotgun, or perhaps a shotgun well past its service life that sits atop a fireplace. While these antique side-by-sides will never be safe to fire with modern-day ammunition, the Hammer Classic is a fully functional shotgun ready for use in the field. It features a construction that involves both state of the art technology and traditional gun-making techniques. This is most evident in the receiver, which is color case hardened. The color case hardening not only gives the Hammer Classic excellent durability, but an elegant, vintage appearance as well. One of the Hammer Classic’s most notable features is a set of fully functional hammers, further adding to the shotguns retro esthetic. Other features of the Hammer Classic includes 5 interchangeable chokes: F, IM, M, IC, and C.
