The ZOOM ZH50 is a handheld thermal monocular packed with next generation technologies. One of the ZH50's more notable features is its patented dual-field-of-view. This function provides 2X optical magnification, and was developed in response to the image degradation caused by digital zoom. With the dual-field-of-view design, the user can zoom in and out of the image while retaining 100% of the image quality that otherwise would have been lost with digital zoom. Using the dual-field-of-view is as simple as twisting the objective focus ring, and allows the user to choose between a wide field of view for detection and a narrow field of view for identification. The ZOOM ZH50 is also the first of its kind to include a full-color 1440x1080 HD OLED display which works in tandem with its ultra-sensitive 12 µm 640x512 sensor and a MATRIX III Processing unit for outstanding clarity and resolution. In addition, the ZH50 is equipped with Shutterless Calibration Technology to simplify use and reduce power consumption.
