Description
Anschutz’s 54.18 HB was built from the ground up for extreme precision. It comes equipped with Anshutz’s renowned Match 54 Repeating Bolt Action – a system used the world over by professional PRS rimfire shooters as well as Olympic athletes due to its extremely reliable design and extraordinarily high shooting performance. To ensure maximum precision, the 54.18 HB features a 20” barrel with an attractive blued finish. The barrel utilizes a heavy profile and features and optimized match chamber and a recessed target crown. Accuracy is further enhanced by the 54.18 HB’s 2-stage 5018 Match Trigger is adjustable between 2.4 to 7.0 ounces, and can be converted to a single stage pull.
One of the 54.18’s more notable features is the Accuracy International AT-X Chassis. Based off the renowned AT-X Rifle, the AT-X Chassis is outfitted with a fixed stock that can be finely tuned to the user’s preferred length of pull, cheek height, and recoil-pad height/cant by loosening and tightening the corresponding knobs. The AT-X Chassis’ fore-end is equipped with KeySlot mounting points in the 3, 6, and 9 o’clock positions. These mounting points run the entire length of the fore-end, accommodating the use of KeySlot accessories such as weights, fore-end bridges, sling swivels, bipod mounts, and rails. The bottom of the fore-end features an integrated ARCA rail, allowing a compatible bipod or tripod to be installed and adjusted with ease. In addition, an integrated barricade stop promotes greater stability when shooting from an unconventional position.
