The FireStick capsule is loaded into the Crossfire's break-action breech, and the projectile loaded through the barrel like a traditional muzzleloader, making the loading process fast. In addition to fast reloads, this allows hunters to have the exact charge of powder on every shot, resulting in consistent velocities and accuracy. FireStick capsules are designed for one-time use, minimizing the need to clean the breech area. This also eliminates the need for powder measures, powder flasks, nipple picks, speed loaders, cappers, and parts soakers.
