Remington Defense HK 416 10.5" Handguard Black

I’m really liking this handguard. It has a slimmer profile than the factory guard and looks better in my opinion. When I first received this item the color seemed a little off but once I put a light oil coat on, it is a close match to HK black. I’ve read on some forums that others have had some fitting issues with this item but mine went on with zero issues... no wobble up/down or side to side. One caveat you should be aware of if you’re considering this product is you must remove the sling mounts on your rifles gas block before mounting the guard. This requires some minor smithing and refinishing. Another option is to purchase a “slimline” gas block available online but at around $250 this might be expensive to some. Overall I’m satisfied with this item and the service from eurooptic.
