Description

The A7 rifle series from Sako has unique characteristics that are not available on any other Sako or Tikka rifle. The special steel action comes in two sizes, S and M. To comply with available calibers, the receiver is drilled and tapped for bases, the bolt has three locking lugs in front, and a 70-degree angle for fast cycling. You'll be able to load the magazine without removing it due to integral steel feeding lips.

Gun cycles very well have had zero jams. Have noticed mine likes midweight bullets over heaviest bullets. Have a low mounted 30mm scope and haven't had a issues with brass getting caught as the last guy has said. Price point I feel the gun does very well for a all around hunting rifle

I bought a 7mm rem mag. The good is it shoots under an inch, smooth action, and nice stock. The bad/unacceptable: it ejects shells into the scope windage turret that bounce back in and jam. (Originally paired with Talley rings and Vortex Viper HSLR.) I have moved scope forward and backward still shells hit. Search it and this is a known problem with this Berretta/Sako line that the manufacturer won't do anything about. Bottom line don't buy it (especially in a long action) unless you want to be limited to the tallest scope rings and a 1" scopes.
