The Sako A7 is lightweight with features not available on any other Sako rifle. The A7’s specialties include a steel action made in small and medium to comply with available calibers, a receiver drilled and tapped for bases, a bolt with three locking lugs in the front and a 70° angle, an internal black nitrated steel insert, and polymer magazines with integral steel collars which allow loading without ever removing the magazine.
Sako Roughtech rifles feature stocks coated in rough surface texture to prevent slipping, full integrated aluminum bedding, advanced high energy dissipation recoil pad, and includes two 5mm spacers. The Roughtech Pro is ideal for regular big game hunting; whereas, the Roughtech Range was built for long range and varmint shooting.
