Bavarian Stock Design: Oil-finished walnut stock features a Schnabel-type forend and classic checkering pattern, providing both functionality and tradition.

I have hunted elk in the mountains with this rifle, and although what it lacks in the weight department, it makes up for in the accuracy department. Fit and finish is second to none, and I own A LOT of rifles. This weekend I double head shot a deer, and a hog with one shot (passed through deer's head, and into pig's head), at 326 yds with 168gr (handloaded) Barnes ttsx bullet. Friends don't believe me, but this rifle was able to do it. If you don't believe me, then try shooting one of these. Proof is in the pudding.

Use this rifle in a 30 winmag to shoot deer....seems to shoot with more stability than my .308 steyr mannlicher...maybe because the sako is heaver but this is an awesome rifle to hunt with and shoot
