I recently purchased the Sako 85 Bavarian Carbine in the 6.5mmx55 cartridge with Sako rings and mount, and Zeiss Scope. I am very happy with the look, feel and overall quality of the weapon, and I have several to compare against. She shoots fantastic as well. I am still experimenting with the Norma, Hornady, Winchester and Laupa ammo in 130-140 grain bullets. At the moment she likes them all, with a nod going to the Norma ammo. Can not wait to test it on a Whitetail.

I purchased my Sako Bavarian Carbine two months ago. It is a fine piece of wooden art in my book. This rifle shoots MOA without my scope on it. My next purchase will be the Sako Finnlight when I get around to it.

I just received my Sako 85 Bavarian Carbine in 6.5x55 Swedish Mauser and it is beautiful rifle, it takes 2nd place in my collection. I also ordered Sako scope mounts which are excellent.
First is held by my Sako L46 carbine in .222 Rem. that I purchased in 1960.
The .222 has taken hundreds of groundhogs and other varmints in it's day and is still as accurate
as the day it cam out of the box. I am looking forward to taking the 6mm to the range when the weather
clears up.
I am a fan of Mannlicher stocks so that is why I purchased both of these fine Sako rifles.
I must say that Euro-Optic is a fine company to deal with, they are fast on delivery and helpful
when you have questions.

I bought this rifle as a replacement for my partner's Swede m/38. This thing is absolutely incredible! It shot sub-MOA out of the box, using loads I had developed for her Husqvarna. It is a beautiful rifle, and the perfect fit for her 5' 7", 110 pound frame. Topped with a Vortex HS-T in Sako's Optilock base and rings, she is going to be deadly in the field this fall.
