Bought one of these in 9.3x62 from Eurooptic last spring, developed loads for it over the summer and used it to kill a white tailed deer in Missouri this fall; one shot kill at 125 yds or so, animal dropped in its tracks.
What a great rifle (and cartridge)! It balances and carries well, I love the easy to grip rubberized finish on the stock, the short barrel, the detachable magazine, and the open sights are the best I've ever seen on a hunting rifle.
Load development continues, but I already have one which features the 250gr Nosler Accubond at 2500fps, according to my chronograph. Accuracy? The first three shots with this load went into .72" at 100 yards....and don't believe what some say about the Sako magazine release latch...it is easy to operate with a bit of upward pressure on the floorplate, just takes a little bit of practice to get used to.
Recoil is significant but manageable, especially with the short barrel on this rifle and heavier (285gr) bullets, although the 250 and 230gr grain loads are no problem.
Five Stars!
