Description

The SAKO 85 Stainless VARMINT in .204 Ruger has an action designated "S" for short.

Traditional SAKO features listed below are standard on Sako 85 Stainless Varmint rifles.

additionally there is controlled feed on all models to ensure reliable cartridge feed to the chamber in all situations (Pat.pend.).
the safety features a mechanism that allows loading and unloading of the rifle with safety engaged.
the steel magazine is detachable and can also be loaded through the ejection port.
magazine release is prevented against accidental release (Pat. pend.).
the single-set trigger pull is adjustable from 1 kg to 2 kg (2 to 4 lbs).
the straight, laminated walnut STOCK with wide fore-end is oilfinished. Strong, extended recoil lug screwed on the fore-end.

Extremely accurate with factory loaded Hornady 32 and 40 grain V-max ammo. One ragged hole groups at 100 yards. Love this rifle.

Awesome rifle and highly recommended. Places factory loaded Hornady 40 gr V-max in the same hole at 100 yards and does the same with the 32 gr as well.

Still very happy with my Sako laminated stainless .204 after several months. Fit and finish is really nice. Feels, handles and operates like a quality piece. Happy I made the purchase. Europtic was awesome to deal with. High marks for my salesman. His knowledge, courtesy and follow up after the sale made all the difference. I would buy from them again without hesitation.
