Swarovski Optik manufacturers a harness system for holding and transporting most of their binoculars for field use. Constructed of elastic material this harness system provides all day comfort while hunting or bird watching and can additionally be used to help stabilize the binocular when viewing via a isometric tension arrangement. Most significantly the harness serves to hold the binocular close to the chest when bending over or crawling through brush. This helps to protect the lenses against scratching and dirt. The harness is fully adjustable and can be customized to suit the user. The clip system to attach the binocular is fast and secure. The distribution of the weight of the binocular helps to avoid all day fatigue. Note: very large and heavy binoculars such as the 15x56 SLCs are generally not comfortable with this arrangement.
