TIKKA T3 TAC based on a two locking lug T3 action. Bolt features springloaded plunger ejector and it can be easily stripped down for maintenance. Bolt is made of stainless steel and tefloncoated. Other outer steel parts are manganese phosphatized.
The single-column detachable clip MAGAZINE holds 4-6 cartridges. Single-column 3-4-shot (depending on caliber) magazine is available as accessory . Safety is two stage type and locks the trigger and the bolt handle when engaged.
The STOCK is made of glass-fiber reinforced copolymer polypropylene and has a buttplate system where the length of pull is adjustable by means of spacers. Height adjustable cheek piece and extra-wide forend carried out with addons. Straight stock features ambidextrous palm swell. Adjustable cheek piece can also be used by lefthanded shooter. Standard sling swivel studs under the forend and butt stock as standard. Military type sling swivel studs can be optionally attached in both sides of the butt stock and forend and under the butt stock and forend.
TIKKA T3 TAC is supplied without OPEN SIGHTS. Picatinny rail for the scope mounts is on the top of the receiver.
The heavy, free-floating BARREL is cold hammer-forged and supplied with muzzle thread for muzzle brake or suppressor assembly.
