Description

This rifle is an excellent example of a fine European sidelock dangerous game side by side rifle that speaks of an African destination. Vinzenz Urbas is a small Austrian rifle builder and this rifle has all the features necessary for a dangerous game including the appropriate calibers of 458 Winchester Magnum and 460 Weatherby Magnum, double triggers and recoil pad. It beautifully engraved on the sidelock plates with a rose and scroll design exhibiting full coverage on the plates and action boss as well as the front and rear of the barrels.   • Rifle Stock:Moderate to straight figure in butt stock with RH cheekpiece, red recoil pad to a 15 1/8 LOP to front trigger. Stock dimensions are Drop at Comb of 1 ½” and Drop at heel of 2”. Engraved steel Pistol grip cap with storage compartment for front sight, full checkering on RH Wundhammer pistol grip and forearm, forearm has slight beavertail shape and has a small chip of wood missing in the barrel channel. Forearm has slight rust on release indentation. Stock is in very good shape with original finish and only a few minor field marks
