This was a great purchase at $399 sale price for a well made scope with illuminated reticle. Scope is made in the Philippines & I have not had out enough to speak to glass quality in low light, but am well pleased with the 2.5x10x44 mag size and weight for AK mount. Reticle is a little fine for me but shows up well in red illumination with multiple brightness settings.

I have this scope on my AR-15 20" barreled rifle (I paid $599 for mine a couple years ago) and I love this scope for my AR. I prefer the MRAD reticle as opposed to MOA, and all four of my Vortex PST scopes have this reticle.
2.5x10 is a very good power range for the 5.56mm AR and even good for the 7.62mm.
Second focal plane for this scope isn't a concern at all.
This is an incredible value for #99 (10/31/16 price). You can not go wrong at this price.
