Best hunting scope currently out there. -Magnification range is perfect, low enough to effectively stalk-hunt and strong enough to reach out a ways. -Glass is one of the best (if not the best) out there. Eye relief is good, even with the hotter rounds. -Illumination-very simple and quite effective. Personally, I could have done without all the increments and opted for 10 or so for daylight and low light. Cons: Cost-it is VERY expensive. But you are getting a phenomenal optic in a magnification range very few offer. The optic is well worth the money. Weight- it is a relatively heavy scope. No getting around that. But you are getting a more heavy duty construction. Magnification controls- It is stiff (pro and con depending on who you are) and isn't the easiest to reach with the battery compartment. Turrets- When you're setting your turrets back to zero after it is sighted in, I found it too easy to accidentally add in a click or two. As for the ballistic reticle. Leica does have a link that'll give you the distances the reticle will work for your particular load. I haven't had a chance to test how accurate their calculations are at distance. While I did not need it, Leica does sell a model with cool guy tactical turrets, that is always an option. Ultimately, would I buy this optic again? Yes.
