I purchased the Mesa this summer for the 2017 deer season. I did the break-in according to the owner's manual (a first for me). Although I have been a reloader for over 50 years, I used factory ammo for the break-in and didn't expect much but thought if I could get something under 2 MOA I would be able to get under 1 MOA with handloads. To my surprise using 4 different brands I managed to keep all groups under 1.25 MOA! When I started developing loads the first 6 loads using 2 different hunting bullets were all under 1 MOA with the best combo was .40 MOA AVERAGE! I now have 2 different loads I am hunting with using 2 different bullets that are at .40 MOA and .60 MOA and they are within 1 inch of shooting to the same point of impact! All groups mentioned are 3 shot groups because of the light profile barrel and are consistently the best I have ever had from a hunting rifle using hunting bullets. In addition the trigger is great and the workmanship is excellent. I would highly recommend this rifle.

I purchased the Mesa model in Feb, 2021, chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor. I couldn’t be happier. This is the dream rifle I’ve been looking for. Lightweight, smooth action, excellent trigger, and accurate. It’s very important to perform the barrel break-in as outlined by the manufacturer. Performance continues to improve as the break-in proceeds. My rifle now shoots 7/16” to 9/16”groups consistently After approx. 40 rounds. You can’t go wrong with your decision to buy the Mesa.
