Description
In their never-ending pursuit of excellence, Christensen Arms has produced the Mesa series of hunting rifles. The Mesa rifles feature a lightweight carbon fiber composite sporter stock and a 416R stainless steel barrel with a Featherweight Contour removable radial brake. Together, these qualities give the Mesa a lightweight of just 6.5 to 7.3 pounds. Another admirable quality of the Mesa is its match-grade accuracy with a sub-MOA guarantee, this is helped by its adjustable Trigger-Tech trigger with a light pull weight of just 2.5 to 3.5 lbs. To ensure the utmost reliability, Mesa rifles uses systems that have already been proven to be effective, such as the M16 style extractor. The receiver also come with an enlarged ejection port, and magnum calibers come with a dual ejector.
In addition to its lightweight and pinpoint accuracy, the Mesa Rifle series is equally versatile. It’s available in 9 different chamberings, from the nimble flat shooting 6.5 Creedmoor to the raw long range stopping power of the 300 PRC. The multitude of different chamerings gives the Mesa a higher range of applications when compared to other rifles in its class.

Customer Reviews
I purchased the Mesa this summer for the 2017 deer season. I did the break-in according to the owner's manual (a first for me). Although I have been a reloader for over 50 years, I used factory ammo for the break-in and didn't expect much but thought if I could get something under 2 MOA I would be able to get under 1 MOA with handloads. To my surprise using 4 different brands I managed to keep all groups under 1.25 MOA! When I started developing loads the first 6 loads using 2 different hunting bullets were all under 1 MOA with the best combo was .40 MOA AVERAGE! I now have 2 different loads I am hunting with using 2 different bullets that are at .40 MOA and .60 MOA and they are within 1 inch of shooting to the same point of impact! All groups mentioned are 3 shot groups because of the light profile barrel and are consistently the best I have ever had from a hunting rifle using hunting bullets. In addition the trigger is great and the workmanship is excellent. I would highly recommend this rifle.
