Description

Crimson Trace’s Hardline series of Riflescopes were designed with tactical and competition applications in mind, and come packed with user friendly features. The Hardline riflescopes are available with cartridge specific reticles, this scope in particular is equipped with the CT Custom BDC reticle optimized for use with .223 and 5.56 rounds and features a series of holder points ranging from 200 yards all the way up to 600 yards. This reticle is also compatible with Crimson Trace’s exclusive Trace Ballistics Calculator, which takes the guess work out of compensating for bullet drop by taking into account variables such as load data, magnification, and weapon type to determine the exact holdover point. In addition, the Hardline scopes are given MOC (Maximum Optical Clarity) lens coatings for sharper, glare-free images.

Nice bright, easy to use scope. I have mine on a 68 year old FN Mauser 6.5-06, JC Higgins M50. I used the Hornady ballistics calculator to fit the CT Custom BDC .223/5.56 Reticle to 6.5 123 ELD M bullet trajectory at 3100 fps. Sort of close but not quite but have info taped onto scope. Would have given 5 stars if reticle was simple MOA. I have a flip up scope cap on the objective end of the scope that covers up the .223 stuff. I really like the no tool turret adjustments with easy to read graduations. Big reticle features are easy to see in bad light, could be finer for picky target shooting.
