It’s perfect for retaining use of the factory flip caps for situations where you won’t need to utilize the ARD.
Replaced the kill flash ring with this Adapter Ring to keep using the lens flip caps and have a non-obstructed view through the ELCAN. If you don't use lens caps, this ring can protect the objective side of the optic against some bumps and knocks without the cloud effect of the kill flash.
