Its optics ready slide allows for the addition of almost any handgun reflex sight and the threaded barrel allows for addition of a silencer, compensator, or muzzle brake. I liked the FN 509 Tactical I purchased before so I bought this compact model to go with it. Not sure exactly what the grip angle is on the 509 model but it feels better in my hand than other pistols I own such as S&W and Glock. The compact model is also more concealable as it is shorter in height. Not much shorter in length though. I like that it comes with the extended magazines, suppressor height night sites and threaded barrel.
