The perfect chassis for the Blaser R8 owner who wants a full featured, fully configurable Blaser rifle. Folding Stock. Plenty of rail space for bipod, lights, lasers, night vision (Think predator hunting).
Looking at Aaron’s review before ours, all I can say is our stock and butt pad lock up tight. The rear pad itself is very soft. And is adjustable for cant (cast on / cast off) on the fly.
IMO, the GRS Ragnarok chassis solves all the cultural problems the Germans have with making their “hunting” guns more configurable / military.
If you have a Blaser but are envious of the versatility of modern tactical / precision rifles on the US market, you need to get the Ragnarok. Problem solved. Problem staying solved.

My machinist made an adapter for this stock to attach the MDT SRS-X Elite but stock. This eliminated the wobble in the GRS factory but pad.
I sacrificed the folding feature of the Ragnarok but don't care since Blaser R8's are already shorter than most other rifles.
The MDT stock locks solid and has a greater range of adjustment. I selected the short variant of the SRS-X Elite. This brought the length of pull within a hair of Blaser factory spec.
The pistol grip could use some improvement. It should have a boss which is integral with the chassis (like an AR-15) instead of a wonky little separate piece. It does accept AR style grips however, they don't look right. Guess that's why GRS chose the UTG grip. I modified it a bit so the trigger/magazine unit would slide in/out more readily.
