The Holosun Enclosed Pistol Sight, or EPS, was designed for use on full-sized handguns, and comes equipped with a wide array of Holosun exclusive features. The EPS has a considerably low deck height, this facilitates use with standard iron sights on many pistol models. The reticle is composed of a precise 2 MOA dot, accommodating extreme accuracy and better shot placement. Like many of Holosun’s red dot sights, the EPS features Solar Failsafe and Shake Awake technology. The Solar Failsafe utilizes integrated solar panels, allowing the optic to remain powered in the event of battery failure. An innovative feature of the Solar Failsafe is automatic brightness adjustment based on the environment, while under the sun, the reticle’s brightness is raised, but when indoors the brightness level is lowered. The Shake Awake Technology on the other hand deactivates the sight after a prolonged period of motionlessness, and instantly activates when the slightest motion is detected. Not only does this greatly conserve battery life, but also ensure the EPS is always at the ready. In addition, the EPS is IPX8 certified waterproof, and is available with red or green reticles.
