These are expensive for combat boots, but you definitely get what you pay for. These boots a built like a tank yet feel light on the feet, the out sole and foot bed are stiff and require a few days of wear to break in but also provide awesome support reminiscent of the high end alpine hiking boots I purchased in Germany years ago. The fit is true to size with excellent ankle support and stability, these things are built for humping heavy loads over rough terrain. Definitely worth the premium price.
