My go to pair of binoculars were always the Leupold Tactical 10x50 with TMR Reticle. For general hunting, shooting, ranging, they worked great. Received the BX-5 Santium HD 15x56 for Christmas (Yes from Euro Optic). Naturally the 15x is a step above for spotting but these seem to just go beyond. In my line of work I have several friends in the shooting/hunting industry and for the money, I don't think there is a better set of 15x56 binoculars out there. Time will tell if they hold up but the eye cups seem to be better than previous models which is a plus. I would love to have a couple higher end units such as the ones I've spent time in the field with, but these are not far behind by any stretch. I don't think you can go wrong. If I had one complaint it would be the velcro tripod mount. I am really fond of the center pivot mount, but the velcro tripod mount is universal amongst many various optics! And it works!
