Have to say these exceeded my expectations. I read many reviews and all mentioned the blue cast, but only a couple explained it was required to see the red display better and that makes sense. (For the record, I don’t find the blue cast excessive at all for hunting or sports viewing, but perhaps a critical bird watcher would.) A few indicated the optics weren’t as good as top tier models, so my expectations were not great. But in a direct comparison these give up very little to my Leica 10x42’s—these Sigs are very good optically! Next I was worried my old eyes would have trouble reading the smallish scale readouts; again not an issue, they are crisp, clear and easy to read. (Note a friend of mine is red-green colorblind and he had difficulty seeing the display, so caution if you are colorblind.) Finally, the AB app works incredibly well. I uploaded a custom profile for my favorite 6.5 Creedmoor load and recorded first shot hits on 450, 600 and 850 yard steel plates using the Kilo 10K readouts. It doesn’t get any better—or easier—than that!
