I paired this rifle with the Sig Sauer BDX scope and range finder kit and let me just say this system is almost cheating. I zeroed the rifle today at 100 yards then shot out to 275, 350 and 418 and hit steel every time. The bolt takes some braking in but that’s only due to the tight tolerance. This is a great rifle.

Excellent rifle, amazing performance, absolutely dominates the sub-1K hunting rifle market. You cannot lose with Mauser.

Great long gun, chambered in 3006. I scoped it up and it nails tacks.

Mauser guarantees this is a 1 MOA rifle. Well that’s not correct at all. I’m consistently shooting 0.5 MOA with FACTORY loads. With a little training/practice from the shooter, I think it’s capable of even better. I chose the 30-06 Springfield chambering and regret nothing, and neither will you. The recoil is very mild and there’s a plethora of factory ammunition. Some people have commented about the bolt cycle—I find nothing wrong with it at all. Very smooth cycle every time. I was shooting paper with a friend yesterday at 200yds, and this Mauser M18 shot better groups than his rifle in 6.5 Creedmoor.

Fine rifle for $399. Great light weight hunting rifle. It was a shooter right out of the box. Love the adjustable trigger.

I am extremely pleased with this rifle. The stock fits me, the bolt is quick and slick, the trigger is very good, and the accuracy has been amazing. I quickly found a handload that routinely shoots five shots into less than one inch. Probably the best budget rifle on the market today.

This rifle can shoot better than I can, I have no doubt it's sub MOA rifle. I've managed 1.5" inch groups so far @ 100yds, nothing on the rifle all me. Lately finding free time to head to range has been tough. I tried a variety of 30-06 grain weights (150, 165, 180) from different manufacturers. Surprisingly it seems to shoot the cheaper ammo the best! Make sure the barrel is cold as well, as it heats up your groups will expand. I've had some of my best groups with some easily attainable core-lokt. With a 1/11 twist the rifle seems to like the lighter weight rounds. Hoping to find some 125g and try those as well once I can find some. Yes the bolt makes a zipper or vinyl rub sound when new. I've spend a lot of time dry firing and cycling the bolt which gradually wears off the coating. Over time the sound becomes less and less pronounced in doing so. With some good oil and a break in it becomes very smooth & quiet. The bolt is one of my favorite features of this rifle, growing up shooting Grandpa's WWI & WWII bolt action rifles you get acclimated to heavy smooth bolts. On many modern bolt action hunting rifles, the bolt just doesn't have that solid feel. This rifle has it. Overall a solid rifle and great bargain as long as europtic keeps the 399 deal going.

I bought the .243 win. What an accurate rifle with standard factory ammo. I group 5 shots well below 1 MOA. Build quality is very good as well as pricing. Puts an excellent performing and buildt rifle into the hands of hunters with various budgets.
