Description

The NX8 2.5-20x50 F1 riflescope is an ultra-compact and capable riflescope. Building upon the legendary durability of the NXS family from Nightforce, the NX8 adds first focal plane performance with an 8x zoom range in a small package. This wide zoom range allows for fast engagements at close range along with the ability to detect, identify and engage targets at long range.

Other features include the ZeroStop elevation adjustment for a rapid return to zero. The 50mm objective is optimized for resolution and light transmission, with a parallax adjustment coming as close as 11 yards. The integrated PTL (Power Throw Lever) makes power changes fast and easy. The performance available in such a compact size makes the NX8 2.5-20x50 F1 a perfect choice for your favorite semi-auto precision rifle or compact bolt-action rifle.

This is my first entry into the Nightforce product line up. I have it mounted to a PRI Mk12 Mod 0 SPR build. Really nice mag range for that. Taking out of the box this optic feels very well made and beefy. I have a Razor Gen 2 LPVO and Scope and the NX8 feels just as beefy while being well lighter then Razor Gen 2. Glass is very clear and able to spot my own shots so far out to 200 yards. Turrets are very tactile and I can hear each click when adjusting. The parallax knob is easy to use but wish it was labeled for dialing to the desired setting quicker. The magnification ring with the integrated throw lever is the best on any scope I have owned yet. Its the smooth and is the perfect amount of resistance. Love the shade of FDE that NF chooses for their scopes. The illumination is nice but I would not say daylight bright. The eyebox can be tight at the highest magnification. This is offset by having the scope properly mounted to the rifle. My favorite thing about this scope far is the reticle. The MIL-XT is the perfect amount of information without being too much. I was looking at the Tremor3 but for my application I just think it would have been too busy. The MIL-XT helped me get sighted in with three shots with no help. Would I buy this again? Yes I would! Probably go with the demo models to save some money. Considering more NF products to replace some of my Vortex ones bank account willing.
