To ensure the utmost durability, the SP-4601C Unimount is precision machined from a solid billet of 7000 series aluminum, and all aluminum parts are given a hard-coat anodized finish for maximum resistance to weather and corrosion. The clamping screws are similarly finished with a zinc-nickel coating, and are pre-waxed from the factory for proper torque values.
