Description

Own the night with the tM 35 Thermal Imaging Clip-On Device by Swarovski! Unlike night vision devices that require a level of ambient light, the tM 35 can operate in complete darkness as it detects heat signatures rather than light amplification. The tM 35 displays these heat signatures in 2 modes: white hot and black hot. White hot displays sources of heat as white over a predominantly black background white black hot displays sources of heat as black over a predominantly white background. Toggling between the 2 modes can be useful for identifying more details. The tM 35 is outfitted with Swarovski’s exclusive Swarolight, this function preserves battery life by activating the device when the user takes aim and shoots, then deactivates it when the user puts the firearm down. An automatic brightness adjustment is included to adapt the display brightness to the surrounding lighting conditions, but display brightness can also be changed manually by pressing +/-. In addition, the tM 35 can rapidly be deployed: after a single press of the on/off button, the device will be ready to use in a mere 3 seconds.

Note: When used as a clip-on thermal device, always use an adapter and never mount on the thread of the riflescope. Make sure there is a distance of 2mm between the tM35 and the rifle barrel

Ok, so no reviews on this product when I purchased it. Hope to see other buyers their thoughts, but here goes. This product is excellent AND disappointing. Pro: - Clarity - ease of operation - slick mounting system - identical reticle zero with and without thermal attached Cons: - does not fit my X5i, but transfers from my Z8 to Z6 beautifully (all 56mm) - terrible as a hand-held monocular as screen does not allow zoom in N America (confirmed by Swarovski rep in Rhode Island, though they could not provide a plausible explanation) I considered returning it, but thought what the hell and kept it. I'm certain that if Swarovski keeps making this product, the second generation will be better.

I have used one of these for the past 3 years for deer hunting. I love this thermal. The best part is I can use it as a handheld, then push it onto the scope in seconds and now my rifle has a thermal scope. If the game runs at all simply pull off the scope and watch the game till it drops.
