Mount also fits Legion .45 acp optic cut slide with removal of bottom alignment tabs. In its infinite wisdom, Sig decided to use different size threaded screw holes than RMR standard, 6-40 vs. 6-32. This means that the screws that fit an RMR optic mount won’t fit the tapped slide holes Sig had provided, and vice versa. This mount allows the RMR optic mount to use its 6-32 screws and provides larger screws for mounting to the slide at the points where the cover plate and Sig’s optics do. The plate also better fills the slide cutout and adds the front RMR mounting posts. I wish I didn’t have to stack plates to get an optic cut slide to fit an industry standard optic, but I’m very glad this plate is made and worked perfectly for my purposes.
