Saved $1200 dollars on this demo unit, what an awsome deal! Binoculars just needed a wipe down on the exterior armor to look brand new. Glass was perfect, as was box and accessories. To my eyes this glass is as good as it gets, I have Swarovski EL in 10x42, they are an excellent pair of glass. But they are a little large for keeping in the truck. These Zeiss are the perfect size for traveling around. Big enough to get a full grip yet light enough and small enough to not be in the way. I had purchased a pair of Leupold BX-4 HD 10x42 to keep in the truck as a compromise to the larger heavier Swarovski's. The Leupold's are really a nice pair of binoculars, but they just do not equal the crisp detail of the alpha glass. Had I never used the Swaroviskis I wouldn't know what I was missing, but I had. The Zeiss Victory SF goes toe to toe with the EL's, I actually get a wider field of view with the 10x32 Zeiss than 10x42 EL's, and I prefer the faster focus of the Zeiss. But everything is a trade off, I do get larger field of view, but the 10x42 EL's allow me to see much further past sunset than the 10x32. Not a fault of the Zeiss, just the difference in objective diameter. Overall I couldn't be more pleased with the performance of these Zeiss, optically and physically these are just what I was wanting and needing. Combine that with the awsome customer service and price at Eurooptic and you have a winner!
