Just got it about a month ago and was using it at a range quite actively. First impressions, (also compared to my Mossberg 930):
pros:
- A well built mechanism, works 100% of time with any shells I put through.
- Very easy to disassemble, fewer parts and less cleaning effort than my Mossberg.
- Good stock sight, very precise at short distances. Feel that I need some additional sight for longer distance.
- Starting to like the round release button, gives you more control on where the round is at any given moment, feels like a law enforcement shotgun, you operate it with authority. The round goes from the magazine to the chamber first time only when you press the button and pull the action.
- Buying and delivery experience at Eurooptic was excellent.
Cons:
- don't expect something extra luxurious coming out of that 2000$ box. It is a very simple set, and a very good simple gun, thats all.
- The instruction manual is garbage, very primitive, although is in about 5 languages
- Difficulty finding some accessories produced by Benelli at the moment. Was looking for a two round magazine extension seems that nobody has it. Not even ebay. Any of these parts are quite expensive too.
Overall, I thing this gun is worth the price, I recommend it.

Great shot gun. Just a few things that I wish Benelli would have included. 1) a better trigger. 2) night sights 3) a hard case. And then we get into the 922R mess with regards to magazine capacity... At $1800.00 then you add the US made parts to stay 922R compliant with a 7 round mag tube you're looking at $2500.00
This is a gun for the serious gun buyer.

I love my Benelli M4! I've only put about 200 (buckshot) rounds through it so far and everything has functioned perfectly. It's incredibly fun to shoot but if things ever get serious you know you have a top shelf shotgun. It costs a pretty penny but you know what they say - buy once cry once.

Amazing, well built, excellent fit and finish on this shotgun. Now I know what they are talking about when they say "Benelli Quality".
Loaded everything I could feed it and zero'd to 100 yards.
Benelli M4 and Eurooptic's excellent customer service, with super fast shipping equals Bullseye! I'll be back for more!
