Additionally, this series of scopes is perfectly suited for use on bolt action platforms, and offers the benefit of extended eye relief relative to standard scopes. Not quite a "long eye-relief" scope, but rather somewhere in-between, and yet with magnification values significantly higher than most standard LER-type scopes. One benefit, particularly in terms of engaging targets that are prone to making sudden acceleration or changes of direction, is that the shooter can effectively use both eyes to monitor the landscape, maintaining greater situational awareness and tracking than may be easily managed with a standard high-magnification scope.
