TheWar Hawk Recon is based on the War Hawk Government model, however with the addition of an accessory rail beneath the barrel, and incorporates Nighthawk's Everlast Recoil System, permitting 10,000 or more rounds to be fired without changing the recoil spring. Various design features differentiate the War Hawk series from other 1911s.
