SureFire’s SOCOM762 Gen II Suppressor delivers the same robust design and reliable performance that the SOCOM Suppressor line is known for. Developed for intense duty applications, the SOCOM762 Gen II ideal for machineguns and other automatic weapons chambered in 7.62mm/.30 cal. It utilizes the same technology as SureFire’s SOCOM762-RC2 Suppressor, but has been optimized withstand continuous automatic firing without fail. This is make possible with heavier U.S. mill-certified alloys and stainless steel, more robust baffling, corrosion-resistant DLC/Cerakote finishes, and redundant-welded subcomponents to eliminate parts from loosening after prolonged usage. Not only does this make the SOCOM762 Gen II compatible with full-auto fire, it also gives the suppressor a remarkably long service life. One of the SOCOMM762 Gen II’s more notable features is the exclusive Total Signature Reduction technology, which employs proprietary designs and improvements in gas-flow dynamics to significantly reduce noise, dust signature (when fining prone), and virtually eliminates first-round flash – a common issue faced by suppressors of a lesser quality. The SOCOM762 Gen II is also equipped with SureFire’s internal ventilation system and an advanced core design to diminish back pressure, the suppressed cyclic rate, and gas blowback on the operator. Other features of the SOCOM762 Gen II include the patented SureFire Fast-Attach System, which delivers a solid mounting platform, as well as quick and easy attachment and removal. This mounting system also ensures minimal point-of-impact shift when compared with the unsuppressed weapon regardless of number of attach/detach cycles. In addition, the SOCOM762 Gen II utilizes a lightweight, ultra-compact design to minimize the impact of weapon handling characteristics.
Note: This suppressor is compatible only with a SureFire SF3P-762MG-M240 or SF3P-762MG-5/8-24 adapter. It will not mount via any other 7.62 adapter
