Description
The Ember Release by Carter Enterprises offers speed, accuracy, and versatility – making it equally well suited to both target shooters and bow hunters alike. It comes equipped with the innovative Interchangeable Tension System (ITS), which allows archers to quickly change from one trigger spring tension to another by putting thumb pressure on the small black box near the thumb trigger and carefully removing the case screw using a 1/16 hex key and remove the box. After that fit the desired spring into place, replace box, and hold it with your thumb while replacing case screw. Trigger travel can also be finely tuned to the user’s preference via set screw – turning the screw clockwise decreases travel, while counterclockwise increases travel. One of the Ember’s more notable features is its sheer modularity. It can be shot as a two-finger trigger release by removing the screw on the side of the case with the name Ember written on it, rotating the finger attachment clockwise approximately 65 degrees, and screwing it in place. To shoot as a four-finger release, remove the screw on the side of the case with the name Ember written on it, remove the third-finger attachment, insert fourth-finger attachment, and re-tighten the screw. Alternatively, the Ember can be modified as a thumb trigger release or a third-finger release by removing the 5/40 socket head cap screw in the Ember shoe, remove the shoe and place it on the trigger in any of the various positions and tighten screw.
