The fenix 6 Pro Solar Smartwatch by Garmin was designed for athletes, adventurers, and other individuals with active outdoor lifestyles. It comes equipped with Multi-GNSS Support, allowing the user to access GPS, GLONASS, and Galileo global navigational satellite systems for more accurate navigational abilities than GPS alone. The fenix 6 Pro Solar also features an advanced set of ABC Sensors which includes an altimeter to display elevation data, a barometer for weather monitoring, and a 3-axis digital compass. Navigational abilities aside, the fenix 6 Pro Solar comes outfitted with a wide array of additional sensors and preloaded apps to get you the most out of your workout and an extra edge in the field. These include Respiration Tracking to monitor your breathing throughout the day and the Pulse OX Sensor, which uses light beams at your wrist to gauge how well your body is absorbing oxygen – good for altitude acclimation and sleep monitoring. Other performance monitoring sensors include the Wrist-Based Heart Rate feature which constantly samples your heart rate and alerts you if it stays too high or too low during periods of rest, and the built in Recovery Time feature that lets you know when you’re ready for another hard workout. The fenix 6 Pro Solar also includes the Body Battery Energy Monitor that takes into account heart rate variability, stress, sleep and other data to help you optimize your body’s energy reserves, and the Hydration Tracking app that keeps track of your daily fluid intake, estimates your body’s sweat loss and sends reminders to keep hydrated.
