Black Gold’s Ascent Verdict Bow Sight delivers more range, more adjustability, and more accuracy than bow hunting sights of a similar class. The indicator needle is indexed to accommodate easy re-sighting should you choose to change your setup, and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd axis adjustability delivers outstanding versatility. One of the Ascent Verdict’s more notable features is its Dial-of-Death Adjustment System. This unique system provides bow hunters with a level of accuracy akin to target sights, along with 80% more gear surface interface for smoother operation and no gear burnout. The Dial-of-Death also features the reliable SureGrip knob and the Zero-out feature. The SureGrip knob allows positive manipulations even when wearing gloves or with sweaty hands. The Zero-Out feature on the other hand gives the user the option of instantly dialing to a pre-determined yardage without looking thanks to a multi-pin head on a vertical dovetail that can be zeroed at the top of the Dail-of-Death’s range. The Ascent Verdict ships with 54 tapes which are customized for bows of nearly all speeds, and the Level Head sight ring is easy to adjust, is more secure, and can be customized to fit into the top of the sight ring.
Like all of the premium bow sights made by Black Gold, the Ascent Verdict is designed by hunters, for hunters, and comes outfitted with Black Gold’s exclusive PhotoChromatic Technology and SkyCoil Technology. The patented PhotoChromatic Technology shell covers the fiber optic strands, and turns purple in natural UV light which naturally tempers it. This eliminates the issue of pin glare, which can obscure your field of view and makes it difficult to see your target’s vitals. The PhotoChromatic Technology works in conjunction with the SkyCoil technology, which gathers more light for 20% brighter pins in low light situations while the PhotoChromatic Technology manages the pin brightness in daylight for an unobstructed view.
