Description
The 457 Varmint Precision Chassis is CZ’s entry to the rapidly expanding sport of precision rimfire competitions, and has been heavily optimized for accuracy and customization. It features a heavy-profile, cold hammer forged barrel that’s tipped with 1/2x28” threading – perfect for attaching a suppressor or other muzzle device. The barrel sits in a proprietary CZ aluminum chassis that features QD sling sockets and plenty of M-LOK attachment points for the installation of lasers, lights, weights, and other M-LOK compatible accessories. One of the 457 Varmint Precision Chassis’s more notable features is a Luth-AR stock. The stock attaches to the rifle via a buffer tube-like interface, and can be finely tuned to the user’s desired length of pull and cheek height. Other features of the 457 Varmint Precision Chassis include an 11mm dovetail for the installation of optics, and a 60° bolt rotation allows scope with larger ocular bell diameters to be mounted with lower ring heights. In addition, the 457 Varmint Precision Chassis features the same swappable barrel system as the 455 rifle series, and has an American-style push-to-fire safety.
